Ok so Im new to droid engineer and trader in general and I'm trying to find out the best way to make weapon power ups. I know how to make the Mod and power bits but I have no Idea how to make them stronger to make better quality Power Ups can someone please throw some hints or suggestions my way...

Couple questions for you...

How high are you able to get your power bits? Are you making 35s?

What is your RE chance? Are you using RE Chance PuPs?

When assembling a PuP, you should be using a 35 power bit, a mod bit, and one of the new RE Chance modifiers. Drop the RE Chance Mod into the tool first, then add your power bit and mod bit. Hit "create powerup" and that's it.

In this forum, did you read the stickied guides?
The Reverse Engineering 101 has a section that details the iterations to maximize the strength of the power-bits, it is a 1, 2, 3, ... step-by-step instruction a bit down.

For a Droid Engineer make a few cases of the knives that you can make very cheaply in a factory. Use a schematic that has a knife with a socket.

Make your SEA and put it in the knife and re-engineer the knife to get the bit back, hopefully with a higher value than before.
