GCW Update Schems

Post by AtiInc » Mon Feb 08, 2010 12:25 am

This is the research you asked for Mr Zim.

If you need anything adding just PM/Reply.

As you may have noticed offense and defence both have different schems.

Here is an example of each...

Defence -

Tower Contruction Tool

1x Heat Resistant Wiring
1x High Performance Circuit Board

1x Material Enhancer (Obtained through hacking the terminal)

Offense -

Combat Vehicle Construction Tool

1x Engine Booster
1x Weapon Stabaliser

1x Manufacturing Booster

So, the offensive tools and defensive tools both use different types of 'boosters' which improve stats.

Your original inquiriy was whether or not the Manufacturing Booster and Material Enhancer both had different counterparts for each seperate tool.

I will still need to get a smuggler to slice a termi for me to be able to find this out :)

I'll get on it tomorrow.

Good initiative Nelon.

Yes, this question is about the optional part in the schematics. To phrase the question exact:

For a particular tool, say Vehicle, and that component slot that takes an optional item...

...is there one and only one item for that slot?
...or are there several items that can fit that slot?

And again, the question is per tool.

Regarding the schematics here at SWGCraft, I definitely believe this is a "component category". But that is only since the slot calls for a text string that does not exist, which is per definition a "component category". If we figure out what the items are named these are categorized under "Generic Item [Misc]", but that is another story. On the other hand, if the items are named exactly the same as what the slot calls for, then the slot does not call for a "component category" but the named item, simple as that.

This all hullabaloo is just to straighten out exactly how the background data for these schematics must look like here at SWGCraft, which is better described in the nearby "guide" for schematics maintainers.

I added the TC-22 Rifle with a screenshot. Sadly, I forgot to check the Profession level needed before using the schematic, so it is "unknown".
