Ok anyone got the scoop on this stuf or is it just another icon to have under your name?
It is a food I got and it adds +19.02 to my surveying
will it help hand sampling?
or to locate more particulary rich samples?
not sure how a +19 would help any survey tool
other than puting the waypoint on a spot that has more than the displayed concentration rather than having the wp follow me

Actually, Chanand and the increase in Surveying does increase the yield of hand-sampling. Other players have tested this with the harvesting droid, a luck suit and Chanand and found that the combination of these increased the rate of hand sampling dramatically. I know from my own experience that it meant the difference between yields of 20-26 per pull and 28-34 per yield. These numbers are not really scientific or statistical, just what I remember. What I can tell you that if you are going to spend 4 hours on Musty hand-sampling, any advantage you can get helps.
